My art deals with themes of uncertainty and optimism within our cities, depicting the intrinsic anxieties and possibilities that are frequently revealed in our built spaces. Recently, I have been incorporating abstraction and geometric pattern into my work to create an underlying pattern that is at once organized and chaotic. Like contour lines on a map, these patterns squeeze and stretch streets and neighborhoods.
My drawings are in several collections including the U.S. State Department, City National Bank and Hilton and Marriott Hotels. I have also completed large, public art projects in hospitals, airports and a light rail station.
