Annelie McKenzie

Annelie McKenzie paints narrative scenes on small, decorative objects, exploring a feminine side of the art historical canon. Born in Montreal, Canada, she earned an MFA from California State University, Long Beach in 2013, and a BFA from the University of Calgary in 1997. She has exhibited at Fisher Parrish Gallery in New York, Contemporary Calgary (Canada), Torrance Art Museum (CA), VENUS LA (CA), and other spaces throughout the USA and Canada. McKenzie currently resides in Los Angeles.
